This presentation will introduce you to the Delaware Living Shorelines Committee's Site Evaluation document.
About this Event
The Site Evaluation presentation will introduce you to the Site Evaluation document and show you how contractors and landowners could use this document to inform them on the feasibility of using a living shoreline on their property. The document introduces multiple metrics and how to collect this information to better inform a quality design for a living shoreline for your site. While this is just an introduction the Delaware Design and Engineering sub-committee hold a 1 day more intensive training on the document with classroom and field exercises to breakdown the document even more.
Presenter: Kenny Smith has worked for DNREC for 9 years and has worked in the Wetland Monitoring and Assessment program for the last 5 years.
