A new program within DNREC’s Watershed Stewardship, the Delaware Living Shoreline Cost Share Program (LSCSP) aims to assist property owners in select watersheds throughout the State by providing funding to install living shorelines using natural materials. LSCSP staff aids landowners, helping them navigate the path for installing a sustainable shoreline no matter where they are in the process- from finding a contractor to providing maintenance checks and/or funding 5-years post-construction. The webinar will summarize the program’s details including project criteria, timeline, financial reimbursement, and provide insight to both landowners and professionals looking to apply for the program.
Presenter: Kayla Clauson, an Environmental Scientist with the DNREC Division of Watershed Stewardship
